The line between ones public and private lives are blurring. We are giving up our privacy so that we can be connected. Now with powerful handheld mobile devices we can be connected to everyone all the time. We are tethered to our mobile devices because we are addicted to being connected and we are loosing our privacy in the process. Guess what? It seems in the battle of public and private we opt for connection.
This is a powerful statement. You can see the effects of this mindset filter down to the rest of society. Where we demand more transparency from companies and government. Where we demand more public feedback in the design of our parks, recreation centers, and other public/taxpayer constructions. Where we demand an open source approach to programming, design, innovation, and customization.
